How does solar help me save money?+
  • Direct Solar Usage: Your home uses the Solar Electricity you generate directly, avoiding grid imports and all TNB charges.
    – Daytime use (8am to 6pm): Solar powers your home directly as it’s generated.
    – Energy Storage (optional): Excess solar is stored for night use before any grid import or export.
  • Export to TNB: Surplus Solar Electricity not immediately used or stored is sent to the grid to further lower your bill (under Solar ATAP, effective Dec 2025).
